At first glance, a 'Frogeye' Sprite doesn't seem like a car that belongs on the track - but any enthusiast will tell you that it proved itself in real style, and none more than the now legendary Sebring Sprite. These more aerodynamic cars were Donald Healey and Stirling Moss's golden boys on the track, and by the mid-1960s, plenty of small manufacturers across the country were offering conversion kits and rebuilds to match the competition vehicle. 

This particular example is the 10th car built to ‘Sebring’ specification by Archer's Garage. Based in Oldbury, this garage gained quite a reputation for their work on British sports cars - but they were perhaps best known for the production and assembly of Sebring Sprite body sections and cars. 

By the 1990s, Archer got hold of the works car for John Sprintzel’s Sebring Sprite, and used it as a base. For the next 3 decades, the company rolled out 100 of these inspiring recreations. This handsome car has entered plenty of high-profile events since its completion, and has really proven itself as worthy of the Sebring legacy. 

It's not often one of these come to market, and we're expecting that beautifully cared for example will turn plenty of heads!
