Engine rebuilt and converted to run on unleaded fuel
Dry use in vendors current ownership
Coming from an enthusiast's stable
The Appeal
The TR4A was a car of excelled evolution. While it looked broadly similar to the TR4 - no surprises there - it transformed the roadster's performance. Taken from the high-spirited Triumph 2000, the TR4A owed much of its success to its wholly Independent Rear Suspension, with semi-trailing arms and coil springs. Add in a couple of engine tweaks and you had an altogether faster, better-handling iteration of the legendary British sports car.
This fine '65 example has been with the current keeper for fourteen years, over which he's been subject to plenty of work and an unleaded fuel conversion. Internally, the car boasts a beautifully presented cabin with a fresh walnut dash and an array spearheaded by a MotoLita steering wheel.
Great specs, a great paperwork file - altogether a great prospect for anybody seeking one of Triumph's most successful roadsters. image.png4.06 MB
