The Appeal
The car is an original UK-market, RHD car with the 2L ‘Veloce’ version of Alfa’s superb ‘Nord’ twin cam engine. The vendor acquired the car in 2016 and, following some MOT advisories on the 2021 test, set about a very comprehensive restoration in 2022. That process covered bodywork, new panels, welding and a full respray in a period correct and rare colour.
Alongside regular servicing, work has included sourcing & rebuilding factory carburettors, attending to the brakes with new servos and steering and fitting new wiper and starter motors. All in all, a very good example of these irrepressibly appealing cars and one where someone else has done all the hard graft.
The vendor says:
“Really nice car to drive, ready for the next custodian to enjoy, who hopefully has a garage or car port ready and waiting.”
