The Appeal
Here is an exceptionally rare version of an already rare XJ-S variant. Less than 1,000 RHD V12 XJS-Ccabriolets were built by Tickford for Jaguar and only 10 are believed to have left the works with this car’s TWR-designed JaguarSport body kit.
That it has only covered a well-documented 34,099 miles from new further adds to its considerable appeal. Naturally, it is in very good condition, helped by an extensive recommissioning in 2016, since when it has been dry stored and only used sparingly in dry weather.
A large history file documents the ongoing servicing and maintenance of what is a collector-quality example of the much-admired V12 XJS. It certainly deserves sparing, caring use but when you do drive it, you will get the benefit of the clever, structurally-rigid, three position roof system that offers from Targa to full convertible driving modes. And then there is that silky-smooth V12...
The MOT to May 2026 confirms what you can see in the photos. This is a fine and ultra-rare British four-seat convertible.
The vendor says:
“The XJS-C V12 is a rare car already. Add in the factory options of JaguarSport body kit and boot spoiler, Speedline alloy wheels, professionally installed rear seat, low owners and a warranted 34,099 miles, and you have a true collector's specimen.”
