Take the globally beloved Peugeot hot hatch and chop off its top - it's not a complex brief, but it's a fantastic one. Sharp-handling, fast and frenetic, the 205 CTi is one of those cars that was fun to a fault - the quick little city car saw such immense success that it gained a reputation for sheer anarchy. This example carries the much-adored 1.6-litre higher-performance engine, which is practically the definition of a revvy, eager petrolheaded 'punk'. These engines went out of production in 1992 due to emissions controls, so they're amongst the rarer of the 205s - and the most desirable.
