The Appeal

This Jaguar XJ-S Convertible represents the pinnacle of British grand touring luxury from the late 1980s. Much like the last E-Types, Malcolm Sayers' elegant XJ-S could also be ordered with a 5.3-litre V12 engine - the perfect powerplant for long-distance Continental jaunts.

This particular Signal Red example stands out for its documented provenance and remarkable originality. First registered on 23rd May 1989 and supplied new by the prestigious TWR Jaguar of Allesley, Coventry, this XJS has been cherished within the same family for 25 years, resulting in a beautifully preserved classic that has clearly been garaged and meticulously maintained throughout its life. We're informed that even the paintwork is original, and as the photographs attest, this Jag presents impeccably for its age.
