The Appeal
If the Corolla Levin is new to you, then chances are you aren’t a gamer or a diecast model enthusiast. It is one of Japan’s best-loved JDM cars, and with good reason: these supercharged coupes are good for 160bhp and were 1600cc sprint race champions in their day.
They are an exceptionally rare sight in the UK, particularly ones as good as this one. Unlike many survivors it remains totally factory standard, right down to the steel wheels with the plastic hub caps. It has covered just 53,000 miles from new.
It is in very good condition and carries a high Japanese auction ‘Grade 4’ rating. That is likely down to the low mileage and spending its life on the salt-free roads of Japan until it arrived in the UK a few months ago with the current keeper. It carries an advisory-free MOT to January 2026.
Finished in black with a matching velour interior, this car oozes period charm and originality inside and out. It could be kept standard, but of course, there is scope to improve it as you wish. Either way, this is a rare opportunity to buy a really good, low-mileage example of a sought-after Toyota sports car.
The vendor says:
“Really engaging drive, but also a cruiser as well. Comfortable and smooth, but also fun too! Best bit is the look of it, very retro, Japanese-looking JDM car. Also, rare and young gamers love it.”
