Ouch.

The eagle-eyed among you will doubtless have clocked that this Ferrari has sustained a ‘tap’ to the front end. It’s resulted in a ‘Category S’ insurance loss - structurally damaged but, crucially, repairable.

Pre-accident, this was a lovely example of the Ferrari 360 Modena - perhaps the most iconic millenium era supercar. Fitted with the legendary Tipo F131 engine and lightening-quick ‘F1’ automated manual transmission, these cars are among the most engaging cars ever to roll through the gates at Maranello. Unsurprisingly, they’re still exceedingly desirable.

Freshly serviced prior to current ownership and the last MOT passed first time with no advisories, this was a superb example with just 45,000 miles on the clock. Resplendent in Rosso Corsa over a Nero interior, it’s the spec to have, making this an eminently worthy candidate for repair. The vendor informs us that besides the obvious front-end damage, the car remains in very good condition. Most notably, the engine and gearbox are said to be unharmed by the incident and you’ll also note that no airbags were deployed.

Now’s the time to get your hands on the next winter project. For many, this is surely the perfect entrée to Ferrari ownership.
