The Appeal
The 2002 facelift of the 996 Carrera made an already excellent car even better. The bigger 3.6litre engine delivered more power and brought performance not far short of the GT3.
The 996 was a very popular car because it blended traditional 911 aesthetics and dynamics with much more usable and wide-ranging capability. Here was a car that worked as well as a B-road blaster as a motorway cruiser. Buyers are therefore spoilt for choice, which makes very well-maintained cars particularly sought after.
This is one of them, a highly maintained, well specified car with full service history. In the last three years over £15,000 has been invested at Autofarm and Design 911 to maintain and also improve the car.
