We are delighted to present this awesome and super rare 1987 Honda VF1000R with only 39k miles from new. A bike that needs little to no introduction and was once crowned the fastest road bike in the world. The Honda V4 line’s flagship model, at least in its pedigree, was the Honda VF1000R. Derived from Honda’s AMA Formula 1-winning FWS1000 race bike, the R used the FWS’s gear-driven camshaft arrangement. An uncompromising 80s classic that are not plentiful in original condition like this.
As you can see from the photos this bike is in excellent condition. We have only had one other of these over the years but this is definitely the best we have had in stock. All farings are in excellent condition and you can tell that the bike has been properly cared for in the past and is still completely original.
Much money has been spent by the previous owner who spent a huge amount of money getting this bike exactly where it needs to be. The bike fires instantly, hot or cold with now smoke whatsoever from the original exhaust. Having just been fully serviced including fork seals, brakes, a carb rebuild and the tank electric fuel pump. This bike is completely ready for its new owner.
