Triumph TR6 150BHP with overdrive, fuel injection (totally sorted and running sweet), 1971, Dark to Mid Green with black interior in great condition no rips or tares and the carpets are also in great condition. The car was originally Sapphire Blue and changed by a previous owner to a beautiful mid-green. A lot of money has been spent on this car over the years. The car is MOT’d to July 2011 and is currently taxed (Tax exempt). There are 1, 952 miles on the clock, which would indicate that the car has been around the clock but I’d assume only once, I cannot confirm this to be correct but the car does reflect this sort of mileage. The car has Revolution alloy wheels fitted and is running on nearly new tyres.
The car is Tax Free and was built in October 1971. This TR6 is one of the best ones out there. Solid, clean and honest in every respect as any prospective purchaser will clearly see on inspection. Although not condition 1, it has been well maintained whilst enjoyed regularly in the dry weather, I’d put the car at condition 2+ and with a little work could be condition 1. There are no signs of rust and the bodywork and chassis are in excellent condition. There are one or two paint blemishes and a chip on the windscreen though not in line of vision and not an MOT issue. There is a small history file, which includes a number of old MOTs and supporting bills and receipts, including a handbook.
The car has been lowered, poly-bushed, new springs and shocks in the front. There is a new alloy petrol tank, Kenlow fan, air horns, recent Bosh fuel pump, electronic ignition, reconditioned starter just fitted and I’m sure there’s more that I’ve forgotten. Excellent Oil Pressure, this car drives and looks extremely good.
The hood is in great condition and interior is also well presented with no rips or tares and the carpets are also in great condition. There is a roll bar, small leather steering wheel, and excellent Sony multi-disc CD player fitted though you won’t want to listen to this as the engine note from the stainless steel exhaust is music to anyone’s ears.
