I am reluctantly selling my Fiat X19 Gran Finale - 1989, one of the last ever produced, currently with 84, 148 miles
I bought the car when i was 16 thinking it would be an amazing first car until i realised it was near impossible to insure. However i decided to keep the car as it was much more than it was described by the owner.
Unknowingly to me, the car was in about as good a condition as possible and used as a show car where it won many awards and featured in a magazine. i was sent photographs of all the awards it has won (best 1500, X19, Gran Finale etc) and a copy of the magazine article which it featured in.
Due to travelling and other commitments i have been unable to use the car as much as i would have liked, therefore i am seeing if there is any interest in the little car.
The car has always been stored in an air conditioned and dehumidified garage along with many others and has not seen a rainy day.
The previous owner has taken good care of her, keeping it in show condition and properly undersealed.
There has been several garage moves in the past 5 years and therefore the history apart from the magazine and awards etc has been lost unfortunately. i therefore only have paperwork for since i have owned the car.
I have recently just carried out the following service work on the car at 84148 miles, given lack of history:
Timing Belt
Tensioner Bearing
Alternator Belt
Fuel Filter
Air Filter
Oil Filter
Spark Plugs
Rear Brake Disks and Pads
Handbrake re-tightened
I will also be including other bits and pieces from owning the car, extra parts that was ordered with the work being done (front brake disks and pads, wheel bearings as well as an extra targa top in same metallic blue and door cards - these came with the car when i bought it)
The interior is in excellent condition and is something to be admired, the alcantara seats dont have any tears or marks etc. The exterior is stunning for a car of this age and it is little wonder it has been so successful at competitions etc. all four alloys and the spare are in excellent condition. The engine is as sweet as can be and has never failed to start even after being stored.
Car will be sold with an MOT when i am next off-shift a few weeks into march, so new owner will have 12 months MOT on the car.
The car is currently based up in Shetland, but will be shipped to Aberdeen for the new owner.
I dont have any recent pictures of the car outside due to the snow but if you would like i can get these at the earliest possible opportunity.
