Described by the vendor as starting and driving well
The Appeal
Few motor cars have shaped the world quite like the Ford Model T, and as the 1920s dawned, many coachbuilders, tinkerers and showrooms began fiddling with the already venerable design, including a few of these - the tapered, sporty boat tail. It was an impressive-looking machine, and helped plug a gap for many leisure drivers who were eagerly awaiting Henry to finally let Edsel design something new.
This 1921 example benefits from an extensive four-year restoration carried out by a vintage car and motorcycle museum in Oregon in the early 2010s, the details of which are documented in the accompanying history file. Upon entering the current owner's hands shortly after arriving on British shores in 2023, the car received an oil service, had its brake belts adjusted, and had an engine oil leak remedied with new gaskets. Since then, it has been preserved in a showroom environment - and what a looker it is!
Having been dry stored for some time, prospective buyers may wish to carry out routine mechanical checks, but we're told there is nothing to address beyond what one would expect of a car now over 100 years old. A truly eyecatching veteran that's ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper. 01_main_202602C&CModelTFXT48883.jpg581.92 KB
