The Appeal
The Citroën C6G is a premium touring car from the interwar period, appearing in the early 1930s. It is notably distinguished by its six-cylinder engine and its character designed for smooth and comfortable driving. This example holds additional interest with its Weymann body, a lightweight construction technique inspired by aviation and notably based on the use of a soft leathercloth-type covering on certain body elements. This construction method, rarely seen today, constitutes one of the distinctive features of this C6G.
Coming from a private collection, this C6G is said to have retained a significant degree of originality. Its burgundy bodywork is paired with a brown interior. The chassis and engine numbers are reported as matching by the seller. The absence of documented service history should be noted, although it is not unusual for a motor car of this age.104_3743 pieter monteny.JPG1.85 MB
