The Appeal

The Peugeot 202 occupies a special place in French motoring history as one of the marque's most successful pre-war designs. Launched in 1938, it was Peugeot's entry-level model, instantly recognisable for its streamlined Art Deco styling and headlamps tucked neatly behind the grille, a distinctive hallmark of the era.

Finding a running, restored example of any pre-war car is an increasingly rare prospect, and this 202 B dates from the model's very first year of production. It was purchased from the collector who commissioned the restoration and is now offered for sale from northern France.
