The Appeal

Many wartime and immediate post-war Willys tend to replicate the military era when they made their name. Not so this restored 1949 CJ3A, which heads off in a much brighter, upbeat direction.

The extensive chassis-up restoration has resulted in a bespoke Jeep in stand-out yellow with black trim and wheels, and marvellous re-trimmed seats. The attention to detail is impressive, from those checkered seats to the black painted accessories. The mechanicals were also overhauled during the work, including the venerated 2.2L ‘Go Devil’ engine.

The quality of the work is impressive. With few miles since it was completed, here is a chance to acquire a ‘box fresh’ bespoke CJ3A.
