The Velocette MSS is a quintessential British single. Nice and straightforward, with a torquey 498cc overhead-valve engine, distinctive exhaust note, and an old-fashioned, mid-century character that harks back to the simpler days of the straightforward English mount. 

This particular machine has been in the same hands since approximately 1978; some 48 years of single-owner stewardship. The vendor notes that it sounds lovely, rides well and turns plenty of heads.

When last ridden in around 2018, everything is said to have worked well with no known faults. Having sat unused for over a decade, it will need recommissioning, but will no doubt reward the effort.
