The Appeal
The 'Frogeye' Sprite is up there with the most characterful classics ever built. How can you not be taken in by its friendly smile? But there's more than just appearances that sit on the Sprite's arsenal. These cars are analogue through and through, with a direct relationship between driver and asphalt. Perky, low-to-the-ground and nimble, it really is a perfect summation of why the great British sports car was such a uniquely special phenomenon.
This fabulous example was restored about ten years ago, making use of ample original parts, and is still a spectacular looker. The red colour scheme suits its whimsical lines to the ground, and while it's been with its current owner, it's been a prized attendee to plenty of classic car events.
These little cars are a real tonic in a time when cars are getting ever-more complicated, and we've no doubt it'll prove a much-prized classic for the lucky new owner.
