The Appeal

The Lamborghini "Lamborghinetta" came about before Ferruccio Lamborghini turned his attention to supercars. This compact tractor model was manufactured between 1957 and 1962, with only approximately 800 examples built, making it a rare and collectible piece of agricultural machinery with significant historical importance.

This particular example has undergone a comprehensive restoration after being purchased in non-running condition from a landowner in Northern Italy in late 2023. The current owner's father immediately began a meticulous restoration process, bringing this agricultural icon back to its former glory while maintaining period correctness. Having been stored in a garage and never used for work since its restoration, this tractor presents in very good order for collectors of unusual Lamborghini vehicles or enthusiasts of vintage agricultural machinery.

History and Paperwork

Purchased in non-running condition from a landowner in Northern Italy in late 2023

The Condition

Body was sandblasted, straightened, welded, and repainted in original colours in a professional paint booth
All body screws have been replaced with new items
Front Lamborghini emblem on the hood is a replica of the original
Tool box is a faithful reproduction of the original
Raised lettering and numbers have been hand-painted with a brush
Original steering wheel and dashboard
New front and rear agri tyres and inner tubes, reportedly maintaining original dimensions
New headlights and taillights installed, including their brackets

The Mechanics

1.4-litre air-cooled two-cylinder diesel engine with 21hp
Manual transmission with three high-speed forward gears and three reduced forward gears
Two reverse gears: one slow and one fast
Mechanical BOSCH diesel pump and injector
Engine has received a complete overhaul including machining work and new gaskets
Diesel pump has been reconditioned
New fuel filter, oil, and injectors installed
New oil seals fitted
Exhaust replaced with a new reproduction
Manual gearbox was checked and found to be in working order, with only the gearbox oil replaced
Oil-operated braking system has been rebuilt
Fuel tank has been repaired and restored
Complete rewiring of the electrical system
New battery fitted
The vendor states that the tractor runs very well
