The Jaguar Mk II is oft-regarded as one of the most elegant sports saloons ever produced, perfectly capturing that Lyons philosophy of Grace, Space and Pace. The 3.8-litre variant, as offered here, is arguably the most desirable spec, and continues to evoke plenty of admiration - both on and off the track. Still capable of keeping up decently with city traffic, and still oh-so-handsome, it's a worthy contender for one of the UK's definitive vehicles.
Restored in 1988 and subsequently well-maintained with significant mechanical work including a major engine rebuild in 2015, this Mk II presents an opportunity to acquire a usable classic with modern conveniences such as central locking, electric windows, and uprated brakes from the later XJ6.
