The Appeal
After cementing its reputation with big, boxy luxury saloons, the Mk2 was an entirely different sort of Jaguar. Neatly evolved out of the Mk1, it distilled all the firm's saloon car qualities into a beautiful, thoroughly modern motor that was effectively a four door sports car.
The 3.8litre Mk2 tends to attract the headlines with prodigious power, but it is the similarly quick 3.4litre that afficionados often gravitate towards. This sweet-revving motor is particularly response and in 'MOD' specification even more compelling.
