The Appeal
The W113 got its nickname from its distinctive hard top, but really this car is about much more than its roof - it is one of the 60s' most handsome sports cars. No surprise that good examples remain so collectable.
This 230SL Automatic arrived in the UK in 2018 and with the current keeper in 2022. He has carefully dry stored it before treating it to a full respray and retrim just prior to sale. Now finished in the appealing combination of ‘petrol blue’ over ‘tobacco’ tan, it is in very good cosmetic condition. The vendor also tells us that it is in good mechanical order and has been used sparingly for weekend runs.
Here is a chance for the buyer to capitalise on that work. These are very usable cars and this one looks in good order.
