The Appeal

Designed to meet the needs of post-war French nuclear families, the 404 was a badge of Pininfarina in Europe. Its elegant design and fuss-free reliability made it an extremely popular car, and it was surprisingly capable on rally stages as well!

This 1967 example, finished blue over black, underwent a meticulous three-year restoration, with the bodywork fully rebuilt on a rotisserie and substantial mechanical work carried out. The interior has been partially re-trimmed, hoping the new owner can finish it to their own specifications.

Registered on a French Carte Grise with matching serial numbers, and with a technical inspection valid almost until 2030, this 404 is ready and awaits its happy new owner.
