The Appeal

When the British motor industry was capable of producing cars as innovative and complete as the P6, it’s a wonder to reflect on where it eventually ended up. These are well-engineered cars that are as comfortable as they are stylish.

This 2000 is an older restoration, which resulted in the classic green paint scheme. It is mated to an evocative chocolate leather cabin. This car is a ‘user’ rather than a show queen, all the better we say for savouring the P6’s intrinsic cruising skills.

The current keeper acquired the car earlier this year and has undertaken a list of work that will benefit the buyer. It includes gearbox repair, fitting an alternator and replacing gaskets. The coolant system has also been overhauled. It is said to run well. There is scope to improve the cosmetics, but with that recent attention, it’s a good base to work from.
