The Appeal
The 13/60 was the Triumph Herald's final hurrah, using the 1,296cc engine from the front-wheel-drive Triumph 1300, MkIII Spitfire and 1300TC. Regarded as the most usable of the Herald lineage, the 13/60 is exceedingly sought after among Triumph enthusiasts, and this 1967 convertible is a great example of the model, complete with advisory-free MOT.
The vendor tells us:
"I purchased my Herald in Sep 2023. The previous owner had done loads of work. This being a reconditioned engine which has only now done 1,900 miles since. He told me that he was given the bottom block and he had done the rebuild. Loads of bills come with the car. The car is MOT and runs out on 29/09/2025. We have MOTs going back over the last 5 or so years. The gearbox has been rebuilt with a switch that gives a 5th (overdrive) gear.
