The Appeal
Looking at the photos of this pretty Tartan Red MGC, it is no surprise to learn that it narrowly missed out on first prize at a recent prestigious Concours D’Elegance. The vendor says he spent three weeks preparing it, and it certainly shows. Inside and out, this car is every inch the potential show winner.
That recent fettling built on the car’s extensive 2020 restoration. The quality of that work is obvious, most notably in the bright chrome, flush panel fit and very good paintwork. Inside the cabin is trimmed in black leather with red piping and appears factory correct, right down to the sprung Bakelite wheel. The car also features optional factory overdrive.
Since the restoration was completed, the car has been used very sparingly for shows and classic car events. For those looking for the very best sort of MGC, this beautiful car warrants serious consideration.
