The Charm
The Triumph Herald 13/60 Convertible is one of the most charming classic drop-tops of the 1960s. It combines Giovanni Michelotti's elegant styling with a separate chassis, which is particularly easy to maintain and restore. The 13/60 version, with its 1,300 cc engine, offered a significant performance boost over early Heralds and quickly became a very popular little road car. Being left-hand drive, this example is particularly well suited to driving on continental European roads.
This 1968 car has been owned by its current owner since 2020 and has undergone extensive mechanical and electrical restoration carried out by the seller, who has solid professional experience. All wear items are reported to have been replaced with new parts, and the dashboard has been fully restored. The seller says the chassis is in very good condition. Invoices and a photo record of the work carried out are reportedly available.

✓ The seller is registered as a private seller, meaning consumer rights under European consumer protection legislation do not apply. However, you are still covered by Car & Classic's terms and conditions.
✓ We require a non-refundable fee to be paid if you are the winning bidder or your offer is accepted. Please see our FAQs and terms and conditions for specific fees.
✓ This vehicle is "sold as seen", on an "as is, where is" basis with no warranty. Photos and descriptions are provided for guidance only, and it is standard practice to carry out a full inspection of the vehicle before purchase for your own peace of mind.
✓ VAT is included in the buyer's deposit. VAT may or may not be included in the final bid or offer price, as specified in the listing.
✓ We want the transaction to go smoothly, just as you do, which is why cars and motorcycles registered in the UK and listed on Car & Classic are subject to an HPI check to confirm they carry no insurance database markers for damage or theft and are not subject to outstanding finance, so you can bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as written off following a total loss at the time the listing is placed on Car & Classic, and we provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) to help you. The presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle's status, so it is always worth carrying out a full history check before making an offer on it.
✓ Buyers are responsible for collecting or arranging delivery of the vehicle. Importing vehicles may incur additional customs duties and import taxes. If you wish, we can recommend a third-party transport company that can help. For more details and to speak with the team, email auctions@carandclassic.com.
