The Appeal
For a car built to be purely functional, fitting as much space into the smallest footprint, it’s impressive that the Nuova 500 has become one of motoring’s sure-fire icons. Demand for the original remains strong and we suspect this very tidy 1969 example will appeal to the car’s many enthusiasts.
It is a desirable ‘Lusso’ with front and rear nudge bars and strip speedo. The dark blue paintwork and tan interior present well. The car is factory standard save for an appropriate ‘tricolore’ trim to the rear parcel shelf. It is an Italian import that has been in the hands of its current keeper since arriving in the UK in 2007. A great example of these charismatic classics.
