Highlights
- Extensively restored Series IIA in smart Mid Grey
- Very well presented across interior, exterior and mechanicals
- New galvanised chassis and many new suspension components
- New tan fabric roof and retrimmed black vinyl seats
The Appeal
The Series IIA is the Land Rover most casual observers think about when the name comes up and the one dedicated enthusiasts seek out. Rugged and reliable at a time when those were the only things buyers wanted, good ones are as much practical workhorse as classic show star.
This Mid Grey 1970 IIA could do either, but is arguably too good for tough work. It has been extensively restored across the exterior, mechanicals and interior and presents at a very high level. The work evidently includes new chassis, suspension, interior and tan roof.
It has covered a few miles since completion, so it remains in very good order. This is an early SIIA with wing-mounted headlights and will undoubtedly appeal to serious Land Rover enthusiasts.
