The Appeal
The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow represented a significant departure for the marque when introduced in 1965, featuring unibody construction and a more modern design compared to its predecessors. This bold change proved immensely popular, setting a production record for the company with 40,000 units sold.
This 1970 example has been in the current ownership for a decade, during which time it has been used sparingly and only in favourable weather conditions. Having covered just 6,000 miles in the last ten years, primarily for shows and rallies, this Silver Shadow has been regularly maintained and presents as an original, unmodified example with the imposing presence one expects from a classic Rolls-Royce.
