The Appeal
The 1972 Ford Mustang belongs to the final phase of the first generation of the model, with styling characteristic of American cars of the era and a V8 paired with an automatic gearbox. In convertible form, it allows you to enjoy the open air with this architecture and the styling typical of early 1970s Mustangs.
This example comes from a collector's collection and, according to the seller, has been preserved in a condition close to its original configuration. It is presented in a "Medium Yellow Gold" finish, with a white hood and black leather interior. The seller also indicates that the bodywork, underside and chassis have not been repaired, that the paint could be original and that there are no signs suggesting the car has suffered an accident in the past.
Mechanically, the 5.7-litre V8 and automatic gearbox are reported to function correctly. The brakes, suspension and tyres are also reported to be in good condition. However, no documented service history is provided. The matching of serial numbers noted by the seller and the level of preservation claimed are the main points to note for this example.
