The Appeal

Honda's ST70, affectionately known as the Dax, is one of the most charming and collectable mini-bikes ever produced. Fun, easy to handle, and with proportions somewhat reminiscent of a Dachshund, it's little wonder they gained such a reputation. Their performance is still lively and agile, and thanks to their fold-down handlebars, they were easy to store almost anywhere.

This 1972 example has been in the hands of its current owner since 1979 and has seen only light use since the early 1980s. Despite its long slumber, it has been regularly serviced by a friend of the owner who is a motorcycle enthusiast and is reportedly in good running order.
