The Appeal
The Jensen Interceptor remains one of the most distinctive of the 70s GTs - and was a tri-nation effort, to boot. Italian styling, American V8 power and British assembly. It was beyond a unique proposition, and today makes quite the marvellous classic.
The MkIII introduced a range of cosmetic and mechanical improvements that make these later cars popular with buyers. The cabin got a modern impact-resistant ‘safety’ dashboard while outside there were distinctive GKN alloys. Under the bonnet, these cars got Chrysler’s MOPAR 440CI 7.2L V8.
This 1974 example presents an opportunity to complete a restoration project that has already seen significant investment, particularly with the engine rebuild completed just over 5 years ago. The lucky buyer simply has to complete the project, after which it'll no doubt be a very rewarding classic car. `IMG_3094 Max Dowling.jpg8.93 MB
