The Appeal

The TR6 was the last of a certain straightforward, brutal and very engaging British sports car that now feels highly analogue in our digital world. For all those reasons, good cars remain in high demand.

This 1973 car is both highly original and in the kind of specification we suspect will appeal to serious enthusiasts. It is finished in popular French Blue and retains its purposeful deep dish steels and the advanced fuel injection system. There is also a desirable factory overdrive unit fitted.

The car has had just five keepers in its 53 years, the current one since 1989. The interior and exterior are nicely preserved, showing light age that is typical of a well-maintained but largely original car. A current voluntary MOT highlights no structural or other serious issues. This is one to snap up, garage for a few weeks and enjoy as Spring begins to spring into action.
