The Appeal

While Volkswagen Type 2s have an impressive survival rate, right-hand drive Microbuses are hard to find, especially those in good condition, complete with camping interiors. That's where this 1973 example ticks all the right boxes. Finished in the classic turquoise and pastel white colour scheme, this van has been clearly looked after by its current owner, who bought it before the COVID lockdown.

York Campervans restored the interior in 2021, and it features a Rock 'n' Roll bed, Domestik hob, sink, fridge, lighting, and a new radio, all beneath the pop-top roof. More recently, a reconditioned 1,600cc engine was fitted and remains under warranty. The vehicle holds a current MOT with no advisories valid until September 2026.
