The Appeal

The XJ-S was Jaguar's flagship grand tourer for over two decades, but early V12 examples fitted with a factory manual transmission are remarkably scarce. This was the most unspoiled era of the legendary Sayer-silhouetted tourer, dating from a time when it was one of the most aspirational cars in the world, perfectly positioned for executives and affluent motorists.

This 1975 example underwent a restoration in 2018 and has clearly been well maintained in the years since. Finished in a distinctive yellow with black upholstery, it presents in very good order both mechanically and cosmetically, and is very eye-catching indeed! Accompanied by Czech registration documents and technical inspection reports, this rare manual V12 XJ-S is sure to draw plenty of attention at auction.
