The Appeal
The beautiful XJ Coupe was the last Jaguar developed with full involvement from founder Sir William Lyons. It was his pet project and displays his signature attention to detail, most notably in the superb pillarless side profile.
Just 704 LHD Daimler-badged 4.2L cars were built and this one was the 67th off the line. Beautifully presented in black, including a gloss painted roof, it is an older restoration that looks great in the photos. It sits on factory steel, chrome-finished wheels while inside is a tobacco-leather interior.
The car comes to market with a Dutch registration (originally delivered new in Italy There is a Kenteken check rapport and NAP report to verify the displayed mileage.
The XJC is rare and very collectible, particularly in Daimler form. This one looks impressive.
