The Appeal
The BMW R80/7 is one of the most fondly regarded machines from BMW Motorrad's air-cooled boxer era. These bikes were known for running with remarkable endurance and maintaining a decidedly unfussy character. Paired here with a sidecar, it's a particularly nostalgic formula - quintessentially 70s from tyre-to-tyre.
This particular R80/7 has been in the hands of its current keeper since January 2012, during which time it has been restored and carefully maintained. Since the restoration, it has seen only light road use and has been garage stored, attending several classic bike shows along the way. A new battery has been recently fitted, and we're told that the bike is ready to run - ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper. image.png1.47 MB
