The Appeal

In its standard form, a Citroën is about as robust and straightforward as a car can be. The Méhari takes this even further. Built on the Dyane platform with an air-cooled flat-twin engine and lightweight ABS plastic bodywork, it was designed as a versatile and fun utility vehicle, equally at home on beach outings or country lanes. With its removable side panels and roof, it offers an open-air driving experience that few other vehicles can match.

The current owner acquired this 1978 example in September 2006, following its initial purchase in the Netherlands. Currently located in the Dordogne region of France, it presents well with its beige bodywork and appears ready for many more summers of enjoyment.
