Timing belt, carburettor, suspension and brake work attended to
The Appeal
Introduced in 1972, the Fiat 132 was the manufacturer’s replacement for the 125, introducing more modern styling and comfort, later becoming the flagship of the Fiat range. It was notable for featuring twin-cam engines as standard. This stylish 1978 1.6-litre example features the later, larger bumpers and wheels, and updated dashboard, door cards and seat trims. The seller states it was bought from Malta in January 2020. Since then it has received an extensive mechanical renovation covering suspension, timing belt, servicing, carburettor rebuild and brakes.
Its dark blue exterior suits the formal style of the car very well, and features chrome trim on the wheel arches. Some rust is visible on the door pillars and around the rear side air vents. Inside, the brown interior is highly original and features beige seats and headlining. The map pockets in the back of the front seats are intact, and the car has been fitted with a more modern radio and Pioneer speakers on top of the parcel shelf. The seller describes the car as “very comfortable to drive”. The Fiat 132 is rarely seen now, and this car is sure to turn heads and arouse interest wherever it goes. 20260825-165357.jpg908.33 KB
