The Appeal
Produced for just three model years between 1977 and 1980, the Silver Shadow II was a work of evolution. Benefiting from rack-and-pinion steering, a revised front air dam, and split-level air conditioning over its predecessor, the Shadow II offered a more refined driving experience while retaining the hand-built craftsmanship and imposing presence for which Crewe's finest are renowned. Today, they remain a household name - the British byword for luxury that's alive and well.
This 1978 example is an original, unmodified car that's got plenty going for it. Indicating a respectable 94,000 miles on the clock, it's accompanied by a service record from new up until 2021 - including the original manual, a folder of documentation, and two service books with extensive stamps and records. The vendor informs us that the car has been well serviced and maintained throughout its life, while preserving the originality that makes up so much of the car's character.
