The Appeal
The Fleetwood Brougham was practically the definition of American full-size luxury in the early 1980s. Angular, aggressive and packed with comforts. Even in its downsized form, it offered a commanding presence, a plush leather-trimmed cabin, and a wealth of standard equipment that few European contemporaries could match. Finding one in Europe is an uncommon occurrence and is bound to be quite the headturner.
This 1981 example is offered as a restoration project, but one that benefits from a meaningful head start. A mechanical overhaul was carried out in April 2025, and as a result, the car starts readily and is reported to be drivable. The rest is now up to the lucky buyer, who we're sure will find it a very rewarding classic once the work is completed.IMG_20251219_195308.jpg2.25 MB

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it's always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer.
✓ Buyers are responsible for vehicle collection
