The Appeal
Jaguar’s XK120 was developed for Le Mans success but its sleek, aerodynamic styling made it one of the most beautiful cars in the world. For those whose pockets are not quite deep enough to buy an original - or who just prefer more modern, more reliable running gear - then in the 1980s the Antique and Collectibles Automative company of Buffalo New York was on hand.
Alongside a range of other classically styled tribute cars they firm offered this, the dimensionally accurate XK120 ‘Tribute. Very few were built and they could, as here, be specified with beefy 200CI 3.3litre V6 power. Buyers got a rare and distinctive sports car with rot-resistant bodywork and dependable mechanicals.
This 1982 car is classically finished in sports car red with a black interior and has covered only 5,119 miles. It comes with a USA title and European import documentation, with all duties and VAT already paid.
