The Appeal
We know what you’re thinking. We even know what you’re singing… “if you’ve got a problem and nobody else can help… cue the strings!” Yes, this 1984 is a faithful reproduction of Templeton ‘Facemna’ Peck’s Corvette, the star and regular fast-getaway wheels for The ‘A’ Team.
Faceman chose his Corvette well. The C4 evolved the C3’s ‘coke bottle’ style but added more power and, finally for a Corvette, decent handling of the sort European rivals would no longer scoff at. We’re told that this car spent its life in a dry USA state before being imported to the UK in 2020. It has had just one UK keeper since and been used sparingly with dry storage inbetween.
The condition is impressive. The red leather cabin looks barely used and retains original features like the working digital dashboard, two-spoke wheel and factory sound system. The paintwork is very good, just a few minor localised points to note in photos. If you’re fussy they look easily remedied.
The car is now usefully MOT and tax exempt. Whether you’re here for the TV action vibes or you like 80s Americana, this tidy Corvette is ready to enjoy.
The vendor says:
“Drives like a new Corvette. Extremely useable classic - feels like driving out of a showroom in 84. Perfect ‘Faceman’ a team replica car .. unrivalled in market today.”
