The Appeal

The Opel Kadett E was General Motors' Continental European take on the 1980s family hatchback, sharing its underpinnings with Britain's Vauxhall Astra but wearing its own distinctive styling. The 1.3s variant, with its willing four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, offered a keen driving experience in a practical package. Survivors are now genuinely scarce, making any well-kept example worthy of attention.

This 1984 car has been garage-stored and recently received a service that included an engine overhaul and the fitting of a new electric fuel pump. Said to retain its factory-standard specification with no modifications, this Kadett is presented as ready for regular use or classic car gatherings.
