The Appeal
The Citroën Méhari is one of the most characterful vehicles to emerge from France, a lightweight, open-topped utility built on the 2CV platform, with distinctive ABS plastic body panels. Produced between 1968 and 1987, the Méhari has become an increasingly sought-after classic, and well-restored examples are not easy to find.
This 1985 example underwent an extensive restoration approximately five years ago and is said to retain its factory standard specification throughout. Since the restoration, only a few hundred kilometres have been covered, with the car having been kept in storage. The vendor states it presents in very good order and drives well. This Méhari offers the chance to acquire a thoroughly restored example of an iconic French classic.
