The Appeal
The Alpine V6 GT is one of the iconic French sports cars of the 1980s. With its rear-mounted PRV V6 engine, low driving position and grand tourer orientation, it combines performance and comfort in an architecture characteristic of the marque.
This 1986 example is said to have been acquired directly from a collector's family. The seller indicates that it came to him through his own means and that it runs correctly, with the engine starting easily both cold and hot. The car has been stored indoors and retains several period features, notably its grey fabric seats and Philips Hi-Fi audio equipment.
Aesthetically, however, it requires restoration. The paintwork shows age-related marks, whilst the front bumper and tailgate show minor damage. Some trim pieces, seals and interior plastic components also require attention. No service history or documentation is available. A full overhaul is therefore recommended before regular use.
