The Appeal
The E32 recognised that when drivers reach the giddy heights of the Boardroom, they don’t lose their enthusiasm for driving. Whereas rivals majored on luxury at the expense of engagement, the second-generation 7-Series did both equally well.
It is a mark of how usable these cars were when new that so few survive today. This Alpineweiss 1988 car has the straight six M30 3.4L engine mated to a relaxing auto box and is in very good, original order.
We are told that the previous owner before current keeper acquired the car 25 years ago and has covered less than 1,000 miles since 2011. It is said to be in good working order with recent work including new injectors and brake lines, plus an oil and filter service. The MOT runs to September 2025.
There is scope to use this as a distinctive daily or take it to the next level for shows.
The vendor says:
“A classic blend of understated luxury and Bavarian engineering, this E32 is ideal for a collector or enthusiast looking for a solid, largely original example with a known history.”
