The appeal
The Alfa Romeo Spider is one of the most iconic sports convertibles to have emerged from Italy, and the Series 3 models from the 1980s combine classic Pininfarina styling with mechanical improvements and greater suitability for everyday use. With its 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, it remains a particularly enjoyable car to drive.
This 1989 model has been owned by its current owner since January 2022 and is reported to have undergone extensive mechanical servicing during this period. The bodywork is painted grey and the seller reports only three small areas of superficial corrosion, with no perforation. Inside, the grey and red interior has been refreshed, notably with the reupholstering of the seat bases and the fitting of new carpets. A wooden steering wheel completes the look.
With a valid MOT valid until January 2031, this Spider is an attractive prospect for anyone looking for an Italian classic with a distinctive character, regularly maintained and ready to hit the road. image.png3.45 MB
