The Appeal
The SIlver Spirit built on the ‘personal luxury’ theme of the Silver Shadow with a boxier and more modern shape matched by even higher levels of hand-crafted indulgence.
The updated Silver Spirit II from 1989 gained ABS, fuel injection and, most notably, Rolls-Royce’s Automatic Ride Control suspension. This clever system continuously monitored the shock absorbers to deliver the sort of ride quality otherwise only familiar to those travelling by magic carpet.
This ‘II’ is surely one of the lowest mileage examples to reach market in recent years. Thanks to that sparing use, fastidious maintenance and a recent high quality respray it is in superb condition, not far short of ‘as new’ condition. There is also a long, advisory-free MOT to provide extra reasons to consider this majestic land yacht.
